REsponsible investing intentionally benefits social or environmental impact. Queen City Angel, Chris Bennett and Peerro Founder, Dr. Rachel Angel will discuss the role of capital in driving social impact. As a minority female in the tech space, Dr. Angel understands obstacles of racism and gender-based challenges that make it hard for someone who looks like her to navigate their way to the top. Chris Bennett brings the investor’s perspective on the gap in access to capital for underrepresented founders, and why it’s important to invest in businesses that generate not only financial return but also impact.
